Gli SfarinatiBeing true Venetians, we, Pasta ZARA, asked some farmers and millers to prepare artisan products to embellish our kitchens and our tables.
This is what happened with flour and polenta. We asked a mill we knew very well to prepare a soft wheat flour type 00, requiring firmly that only the best part (the centre) of the grains of selected wheat was used.
The result was surprising, and we decided to share this excellence by selling it under Pasta ZARA brand.
“We love it, probably some other will”, we thought.
Then the precooked flour for polenta was born. It is ready in only 3 minutes. The corn flour is steamed at high pressure, the product obtained is dried and transformed back to flour. Extraordinary. Try it with fish….
