Sublime

La SublimeEmmer is a very ancient grain, the first wheat to be cultivated, about 9000 years ago.
The one grown in the Mediterranean area (Triticum family, of which Dicoccum is the best quality) arrived in Italy, becoming so precious that Romans used it for bartering.
Pasta ZARA rediscovered Dicoccum, creating the Sublime range: spaghetti, penne rigate, spirali.
This is an important nutritional opportunity. In fact, emmer is not only rich in vitamins A, B, C, E but also in minerals: calcium, potassium, magnesium and phosphorus. Furthermore, it contains proteins, poly unsaturated fatty acids, iron, copper and manganese, and lots of insoluble fibres.
So nice to go back in history!
